Arab American Heritage Month
Carthage celebrates Arab American Heritage Month
April is National Arab American Heritage Month! This month we are celebrating the Arab American heritage and culture.
It’s estimated that 3.7 million Americans have Arab roots. Immigrants with origins from the Arab world have been arriving in the United States before our independence.
Arab American Heritage Month pays tribute to the many contributions of Arab Americans and Arabic-speaking Americans. Arab Americans contribute to our nation’s advancements in science, business, technology, foreign policy, and national security.
“We have to be a nation of compassion and some sort of humanity when it comes to the treatment of other human beings.” — Rashida Tlaib
